Quotes about leaders.

"The healthy man does not torture others. Generally it is the tortured who turn into torturers." -Carl Jung

This quote may be a bit extreme for Obama, but from what I have heard of his upbringing it may have a lot to do with his actions as a man.

"A person can either be beaten down and be the rug people walk on, or he can spend his life getting back at his torturers through people to whom he, in his own mind, has made himself superior." M.Beatty

"Of all the animals, man is the only one that is cruel. He is the only one who inflicts pain for the pleasure of doing it" -Mark Twain

"Pain doesn't necessarily mean that which is physical. Sometimes pain is loss. Loss of liberty is painful to a people for whom freedom has always been." M. Beatty

"Remember that all through history, there have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they seem invincible. But in the end, they always fall. Always." -Mahatma Gandhi

"We have had adequate leaders and bad leaders.
We have had evil destructive leaders and great leaders. When it come down to the final curtain, if there are still patriots among us the evil will fall." M. Beatty
