INNOCENT VICTIMS
Is it so easy to face an enemy
And know his intentions
In broad daylight
With no pretenses?
No battle is easy
No battle is foreseen
With any glee of the warriors
But they know what it means
Where in the shadows
Do terrorist conspire?
Vicious attacks
No chance to return fire
And it is with pride
That they create so much fear
There is no place to hide
Now that our battle ground is here
We once walked our streets
Aware of our foes
With a war against terror
Anything goes
The victims are not armed
They may be old and defenseless
Anyone will be harmed
The terrorists are relentless
No innocent daily routine is the same
It is fear of the unknown that drives us insane
The innocent become victims of a terrorists rage
Just pawns in a game we don't wish to engage
