Keep Your Eyes on Heaven

I agree, the poem does reflect the Prunes.

Tolkien:

"Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens."

KEEP YOUR EYES ON HEAVEN

Life is a challenge, an adventure, a test

When the night comes

It is the cue you should rest

When light again shines

Here's hope you slept well

It's time to resume your journey

Out-running  offers from Hell

The devil's a chaser, he's after your soul

Life as you face her, let's you grow old

With Heaven as your destination

There is no way to lose

It's about how you manage

The time that you use

Keep your eyes on Heaven

Reject bribes from the evil

Make goodness your obsession

Avoiding upheaval

Pray when you rest

Laugh when you play

Take all the best

To the end of each day
