There will always be enemies among us
And battles to be waged
It is up to the people to know
When to stand down or engage
Would we be best to stand our ground?
When should we attack?
Will the threat before us wane
And we should be holding back?
It is best to know our enemies
Put ourself into their shoes
Before we point our fingers
Threaten or accuse
Some battles are won with force, you see
Most are won with detente

Is knowing what we are not
