From the moment of conception comes a glow
That only other mothers seem to know
It is like a miracle has taken over
An unexplained tingling begins all over
As that precious new life begins to grow
The tenacity of being a mother we know too well
Harm our child and one will confront the wrath of hell
Amid the tenderness inside,
The unconditional love, and yes the pride
Forever riding on a motherhood carousel
