Corruption

Personally, I don't think the slight corruption of a child manipulating his parents need escalate into the height of political corruption. It takes an evil mind to equate and justify such an escalation of manipulation into full blown corruption. M. Beatty

This is what SAUL ALINSKY had to say about CORRUPTION. He makes it sound like such a common thing, even acceptable.

"Life is a corrupting process from the time a child learns to play his mother off against his father in the politics of when to go to bed; he who fears corruption fears life."

CORRUPTION

In what evil minds is it respectable

Much less now acceptable

That simple manipulation should rise

To the heights of pure political corruption

It need not be a fact of life

To indulge in premeditated internal strife

In a move to induce

Our economic destruction

The commonality of government lies

Cover up and domestic spies

Yet half us us can't find a way to

See past their malevolent disguise

Corrupt the courts, corrupt the schools

Call fellow Americans racist fools

Division is among

This government's favorite tools

When we'll condone the parity, inviting mass polarity

Rise corruption in popularity

We the People will be the ones

Who lose prosperity

Corrupted Senate, corrupted House

Reward with lifetime terms the louts

Ensure the votes

Embrace the layabouts

Tax the workers, reward the shirkers

Socialism reigns in several versions

We the People are sheep

The government becomes the herders

Who would wish it would come to this

For better times we reminisce

When will everyone realize

Government corruption drove us off this cliff?
