At Last a Mountain

"No one is so brave that he is not disturbed by something unexpected."

Julius Caesar Roman Leader 100 BC-44BC

AT LAST A MOUNTAIN

We plan our day for logical transitions

Yet some days there comes a glitch

Life is not one of tedious repetition

It changes for good or bad, we'll never know which

Should we dwell on such a disturbance

That will cause erasure in our plans?

Should we find a healthy resurgence

In the twists and turns that life demands?

On so we go so we go so we go

Only a mountain can stop our onward trek

It is with this truth we will somehow know

What the mountain will be is circumspect
