A state of mind, it's not
Just a public face it should not be
It must not run from cold to hot
It is the truest reason for our liberty
A patriot will get chills
At any act of bravery
His pride will over-spill
At the condemnation of slavery
Patriotism is not just red, white, and blue
It is all human colors and faiths combined
It is the strongest feeling inside of you
To embrace your countrymen of every kind
Patriotism is the unbreakable will
To right our country's wrong
A patriotic heart is filled
With the magic potion that keeps us strong
It is a feeling meant to be shared
A common goal to celebrate
It is a culmination of those who cared
And have chosen pursuing love, not hate
