TYRANNY

Seeking absolute power

In their own mind a righteous move

But in life under tyranny

It is the citizens who lose

The tyrants see their version

Of goodness oh so true

But in bondage we the citizens

Will find ourselves in lieu

Tyrants believe that their control

Is care that they are giving

They don't feel the chains

In which the ordinary are living

The "rewards" they rain on citizens

Under socialistic laws

Are just tidbits of their bounty

Beneath their hellish, selfish cause
