Where has it gone, the pride?
What does our government have to hide?
They live under a cloak of conspiracy, cover-ups, no accountability.
Where has it gone, the honor?
The face of truth we garner?
Lies have become their calling card, their billboard, and with disregard
Where has it gone, the patriotism?
The tears we shed when the flag has risen?
Gone for fear of retribution, for standing on The Constitution
Where will we be ten years from now?
Self sufficient or don't know how?
Victims of a welfare state, divided with a sense of hate
Where has it gone, the dignity
Head held high, integrity
It has gone by way of Obama's plan, from once industrious to a broken man
