THE LONELY TRUTH
It is out there in all its glory
For anyone to know
How lonely an existence
Waiting for its time to come
Truth so often is ignored
As the false seems so inviting
To cover indiscretions
And hide intentional corruption
Why is it so easy to lie?
Because our silence shows acceptance
Too often we are blind
When truth begs to be acknowledged
