ANTICIPATING NEGATIVITY
Misfortunes come ably on their own
Sadly some dwell on the adversity they've known
Should we be locked in such self imposed chains
As angst for the future is so firmly ingrained?
It marks our past, present, and future
Challenge is just part of our life
It's up to ourselves which feeling we nurture
Hope and happiness or worrisome strife
