THE COST OF LIVING
What can I give for this miracle of life?
It should be something worthy, I suppose
Perhaps honesty would be an adequate exchange
Does it seem enough, who knows?
Charity, sincerity, humility
Being thankful and forgiving
Any offering I can proclaim
For this blessing known as living
