It is time to bring on the fear
Isolate us from what one thing we held dear
Did we once know a day in time
We could share our opinions, what's on our minds?
"Stifle the bastards!" Our government said
"Break their spirit, get into their heads!"
"Once we have indoctrinated their young
Our plans for social justice will have won!"
And what above they said is the tools they use
A dependant citizenry who have no clue
All they ask is for what little they need
As their life wanes slowly from the dignity they bleed
The patriots who recognized the schemes
Are being pushed into the background, so it seems
A mere squeak from once loud voices
Silenced by our own questionable choices
Give the politicians unlimited terms
When will the folly of that ultimately be learned?
Give them the keys, hell! give them the car
Until the dependant class wakes up, it is here we are
