JUST THE FACTS
Upon the podium he stands
To convince us we've been wronged
Pounding his fists as he demands
We now must all stand strong
The murders we are about to commit
In yet another war
Is the truth of it pure politics?
Are we about to even a score?
At the very least we must seek the truth
That would satisfy the blood-lust
Is that politician, smug and smooth
About to betray our trust?
Give me just the facts, man
Before sending our children to war
Let there be a reason to understand
Just who we are fighting for
