Our Loss

"The great appear great because we are on our knees: LET US RISE!" and that comes from James Larkin (1876-1947)

OUR LOSS

Let them be the driver

Be but don't be seen

An invisible survivor

Not a player on the team

Let them choose your destination

Don't you dare have your say

Quell any aspirations

Don't you care to have your way?

Give up your right to prosperity

Let the government be the king

Bow to secularity

Don't let your freedom ring

Are we just the mice

Addicted to their cheese

Would it not be nice

To get up off your knees?

Our loss has been the greatness

They led us to perceive

Progressivism is the illness

Our apathy, the disease
