It happens over time
Little by little by little
Theft is the crime
It's so very simple, so simple
Some have grown lazy
Some blinded by greed
Always too busy
To see how we bleed
Liberty is spinning
Slowly down the drain
Though patriots are complaining
Big government reigns
Socialism bloomed
Our children are trained
Our country is doomed
Because our tolerance remained
