The clowns arrive in limousines
Piling out one by one
The congress is about to convene
To get some spending done
Laws are discussed and bills are passed
Sometimes they make some sense
But most of the time that congress is in session
The circus will commence
Clowns that juggle, trip, and fall
Stand up to have their say
Forward they will barely crawl
With the agenda of the day
The spoiled clowns with me complexes
Argue their partisan agendas
Their only accomplishments are more and more taxes
Explaining it with propaganda
So I say with a disgusted expression
As the country keeps plummeting down
When congress is in session
The circus is in town
