THEY POKED A SLEEPING BEAR
Stalled by debate
Riddled with fear
Looking to history
What should happen here?
In the meantime citizens recoil
At the sight of beheaded innocents
Serving bravely on foreign soil
Is war now imminent?
We are all in an uproar
Yet still divided
Shall we settle the score
Or just go on hiding?
The brave will stand tough
