THE GRAND GIANT
There was never anything small about her
Her vast beauty invited jealous awe
Her fertile fields have always fed her millions
She became home to the hopeful immigrants she'd draw
Her success was based on enormous dreams
Her citizens knew she was too grand to dream small
As those dreams become nightmares in frustration
It is then this giant shall fall
