THE SCARY TRUTH
One would think, and it should be
The truth in all will set us free
But it compromises our comfort when
Deception is easier to comprehend
We fear the truth when it screams for change
Our familiarity become estranged
Deception and lies some hope it brings
And truth may lead to scary things
