RIDING INTO BATTLE
The knight is seated on a powerful steed
His weapons and courage are all that he needs
So say those who are in awe of him
Putting forth their faith he is there to protect them
But the knight does not carry his weapons so sure
His strength comes from something more pure
Before his helmut goes over his hair
He is surely empowered by his faith in his prayer
Before the young knight sets his steed in stride
He has garnered his will from what God can provide
With victory as this brave soul's intention
His deepest incentive is the strength God has sent him
