Sometimes it has to be
What I say is of offense to thee
A slap upon your face it seems
A time we take opposing teams
I must be brutally honest, you see
To establish a defense for me
We need to be free to express our views
For silence is a lame excuse
It may come to that we part our way
Maybe meet again another day
But then we might find compromise
Without ever feeling victimized
