A pleasant man he was
It was never obvious to everyone the pain in his heart
Another victim of Vietnam
And an early life that dealt him crummy cards
He did his best, I know
Because so many loved him so dearly
I'll say a prayer or two as a calling card
To announce to Heaven someone special is on his way, way too early
