They once lived together in a great big house
Spirited children with their own agendas

Typical of families we had to part
Growing into new relationships and adventures
All children become grown and must embark
Into new eras of toil and splendor
Fortunate were we to reconnect
And find our love that hid so dormant
We found it pleasing to recollect
That our love for one another is important
Blessed are we to have these ties

Laughing about good times gone by
That we thought had been lost behind us
I feel a special aura around us
In those special times we can meet
I experience a familiar love surround us
As our memories we try to repeat
Children are we amid the laughter
Telling stories again and again
It is odd that among the stones we linger
In the little town where we'd once been
It is fun to play the part of clowns
With too many years behind us
