DIVERSION
Those in power with clandestine ideals
Use turmoil to alter the people's will
While we look into the destruction before our eyes
Of the leader's awesome duties we sympathise
But he thrives on chaos to hide his intent
Into a diversion his many minions are sent
As we watch the bombed buildings of diversion burn
We are bamboozeled as our republic is overturned
