REALIZING OUR RESPONSIBILITIES
We are but children of God
We are different as well as the same
Somehow we have become all Americans
But for some it is only in name
In the common air we breathe
Shouldn't we all be expected to contribute?
Charity must always come from the heart
And our gains not be forced to distribute
We are all mortal and prone to mistakes
The consequences land upon us all
But we should keep our children in mind
It's on their shoulders our decisions will fall
