PEACE
Peace is but a moment in time
A mere break while evil gains steam
It is a never ending battle to hold on to peace
We barely catch our breath, it seems
Morally we can't stand down against evil
It is not our option to cease
As long as terrorist have the world in their sights
The good must draw swords against this beast
Murder of innocents is not alright
Persecution of a people should not exist
And if we must, our only option may be war
As much as we prefer to resist
Peace is unfortunately something we earn
A way of life continually challenged by some
We can enjoy it for a moment in time
But the fight to retain it is never done
