MAD AS HELL
Once proud in our freedom
Once hopeful in our dreams
There used to be half a chance
It is just the way it seems
We Americans are struggling to do our best
In this economy it's really hard
We are again the target of terrorists
Right in our own back yard
But the deepest cut of all
Is that the people who are elected
Want to see our country fall
And our middle class neglected
Learning institutions are leaning left
The main stream media is biased
The conservatives can't pass the test
Ideology is at its highest
Hope and change has been a nightmare
We are in danger of collapse
Progressives are in power and most don't care
And liberty is fading fast
