LIES UNCOVERED
It is almost laughable what politicians say
With their definition of transparency.
They state what should be flushed away
Hoping you believe the lies another day.
They think you will accept all they spout as fact
Because you believe who you elect
The lies are oh so neatly stacked
And thought as truth in some respect
But respect is soon to be their loss
As truth bubbles to the surface
People will realize they
have been double crossed
And what was said was far from earnest
The lies uncovered stink like death
Aren't we amazed that we believed them?
This administration exhaled them with every breath
And we accepted as we breathed them
