It is difficult to free fools from the chains they revere.

TRAPPED AND SURRENDERED
Satisfied with hand-outs they embrace the imprisonment
While hardworking people hold growing resentment
As dependence on welfare and foodstamps grow
So does the debt of the country we know
Citizens in the chains continue to select
The growing beast that feeds them, the socialists they elect
While the country that they steal from will never stay afloat
Down go the patriots who never gave up hope
We will never free the dependant from the chains that they wear
They are happy with their hand-outs so imprisonment is fair
Fools they are, as we see our government grow
Sentenced are We the People as we reach this sad plateau
