Years of involvement in the Middle East conflicts have emphasised the ability of any U.S. President to control conflicts once they’re started.

As the Middle East continues to boil
And murderous.leaders show contemptuous eyes
Over hateful vermin in the land of oil
Their own people they despise
Our narcicistic leader draws a line
That foreign terrorist cross again snd again
Until they push his buttons just one more time
To provoke him to action
He lies about an attack he plans
That will bring us into war
He says it will be swift and not expand
"Let me punish them!" he implores
He intends to move forward
Although We the People tell him no
The votes in congress mean nothing
When our president decides to go
Syria you are next in line
We're going to slap you on the butt
Just like we do to anyone
Who in defiance try to strut
And believe me it won't be swift and sure
Soon the boots will be on the ground
To send our children into harm
As Obama doubles down
Another war in another land
To which we owe no allegiance
A waste of treasure and a maiming of man
To aid terrorists and demons
