THE CAUSE
Now is the time, my friends
If ever there was
To take a firm stand
And embrace the cause
Our country is in peril
At the hands of those elected
Who initially their lies
Somehow went undetected
They have firmly taken hold
To enact self serving, oppressive laws
If ever we were to understand
There is a need to unite with cause
It is our country's future
And the liberty of our spawn
That we rise to the occasion
And with vigor take them on
