FORGET IT MAN, IT OWNS YOU

The things you own end up owning you.

FORGET IT MAN, IT OWNS YOU!

The car you have was a beautiful buy

You want to always make it shine

It takes your money to keep it like new

You don't own it, it owns you

That house you bought when you were wed

An investment, you thought, more debt instead

No matter what you say is true

You'll never own it, it owns you

Satisfied with the country where you we're born

In time it's become fractured and torn

"But it is mine to maintain, the red white and blue!"

You don't own the government now, it owns you!
