Confucius, Chinese Philosopher. 551
An oppressive government is more to be feared than a tiger.
KNOWING THE STRIPES
In the jungle of our perception resides our emotions
Revolving around trust and fear
It is logical to hold the notion
That we fear the tiger and trust what we hear
The tiger is real, we must trust his intentions
He is exactly as he appeared
But from what they've proven, in my contention
Empty promises of a government are to be feared
