As bombs are wrecking the scenery
And gunfire brings soldiers to the ground
Does our president react immediately
Or golf another round?
As children are being exploited
In their desperate northern trek
Does our leader, The Anointed One
Show the situation any respect?
Is he still dodging all the questions?
About Benghazi and the IRS
Does he pooh pooh our perception
That we are on a downward quest?
Do we fear to address our problems?
Are we bending to his regs and laws?
Are we hanging on ambivalence
Surrendering to his cause?
Is it apathy or fear?
Perhaps a bit of each?
Who will dry a patriot's tear
Once our liberty is out of reach?
