So many differences, should we question why
Folks feel the need to change, they try and try
Pretty little girls
Pretty little curls
But they are vilified all the while
Curls are not in style
Is black skin as good as white
Any color should be alright
Hand in hand
All are grand
There will be those who hate for spite
And take their prejudice to bed each night
May my choices be respected
Especially in my religion selected
Heed my prayers
That feelings be spared
Don't allow our differences to be dissected
No ones differences need be neglected
