A Bit of Me
The walk I took on Tuesday
Having may have been my last
Became a part of history
A figment of my past
The conversation with my mom
Though it was somewhat contrary
Will remain a piece of one day
Though it was quite ordinary
The poems I wrote the past few days
Might not mean much to most
But it is a part of me now
If that's all that I can boast
The love I've known still lingers
The hate I try to shed
As each day becomes my vivid past
When I retire to my bed
