The Motherhood Carousel

Another definition of Mother besides a women in relation with a child is “something that gives rise to something else.”

THE MOTHERHOOD CAROUSEL

From the moment of conception comes a glow

That only other mothers seem to know

It is like a miracle has taken over

An unexplained tingling begins all over

As that precious new life begins to grow

The tenacity of being a mother we know too well

Harm our child and one will confront the wrath of hell

Amid the tenderness inside,

The unconditional love, and yes the pride

Forever riding on a motherhood carousel

A Patriot's Promise

Winston Churchill:

All the great things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope.

A PATRIOT'S PROMISE

We will feel the freedom in our prideful hearts

From our honor and hope our liberty starts

"It is our duty!" the patriots cry

Saluting our flag as it's carried by

Have mercy someday upon our souls

As patriots we have fulfilled our roles

It was our truth that caused justice to prevail

Courage the reason we refused to fail

Truth and Justice

HONOR

You will never do anything in this world without courage. It is the greatest quality of the mind next to honor.

Aristotle

TRUTH AND JUSTICE

Sit upon a steed of white

Waving the flag of honor high

Let loose the doves in freedom's flight

Your truth and courage in great supply

Armed with honesty a battle righteous

Takes place to cause the liars' fall

To overtake us, how dare they try us

When truth and justice propels us all

My Questions

James Madison. Born 1751 and died 1836.

The people are the only legitimate foundation of power, and it is from them that the Constitutional Charter, under which several branches of government hold their power is derived.

MY QUESTIONS

Where have all the people gone?

Why are the Constitutionalists few?

When will more stand to break the power

The government has gained over you?

How do people explain their apathy?

Since when has it been ok to take

The fruits of the labor of our fellow man?

Get off your duffs for Heaven's sake!

Can our constitution still support us

As our government erases her meaning?

What are we doing as The White House takes charge?

Don't we find the growing laws and regulations demeaning?

For those of us who resent the intrusion

Of growing government into our affairs

We'll continue fighting for the rights we were promised

There are still patriots who passionately care

Adapt

The quote is from MOHAMMAD ALI JINNAH. He was a politician in Pakistan who lived 1876-1948.

You have to stand guard over the development and maintenance of Islamic democracy, Islamic social justice, the equality of manhood on your own soil.

ADAPT

Don't bring it here, your politics

Leave it behind from where you fled

Live here, accept our way

We won't bow to what Allah has said

This, after all is a Christian society

Your intrusion, I find it quite odd

You are welcome to stay if you don't question our way

And most of all don't dis our God!

A Sad Goodbye

Ronald Reagan:

One way to make sure crime doesn’t pay would be to let the government run it.

A SAD GOODBYE

Once the finest restaurant

Where the tastiest steaks were found

We are now a greasy burger joint

With the poorest meat that's ground

We once had fine young waiters

With eyes forward toward success

Now old burger flippers

Are content to live in all the mess

Once a country with values

And patriotic pride

We find that half the citizens

Are just looking for a ride

Once with leaders like George and Abe

And fine folks who we elected

Our country is run by thieves and perverts

We blindly have selected

I fear someday I will open the paper

And right there above the crease

Is our country's obituary

May she finally rest in peace

Let's Dance

One can be a brother only in something. Where there is no tie that binds men, men are not united but merely lined up.

Antoine de Saint-Exupery

French Pilot & Author 1900-1944

LET'S DANCE

Are we to be caught up in a line

Always a step ahead, or two behind

Because we are all caught up

In just whatever is on our individual minds?

Can't we gather in a circle

Red, yellow, dark, and fair

Planning like destinations

We'll face together there
?

Will we continue our journey hand in hand

No longer showing teeth and claws

Stepping forward in loving unison

To stand up for one like cause?

Can we bury all our differences

And form a new romance

Make life a celebration

And say to one and all "Let's dance"?
